People may recall Asakusa, Roppongi or Harajuku when they hear, "Tokyo," but Tokyo also has an area that is rich in nature, history, and culture, called the "Tama District." The Tama District is the area between Tokyo's two major train lines that run east-west. Flowers, springwater, parks, and historical temples and shrines are scattered throughout this area. Wouldn't you like to escape from the bustle of central Tokyo and enjoy a refreshing bike ride through Tama?
